Children

They have 17 children. Olena and Viktor Ivanchenko took so many orphans into their care. Before the war, the family lived in a house near Zaporozhye. But in the first weeks, parents were forced to hurry to collect their children and go to a relatively safe place.

- The last straw was the explosions at the airport. It is 30 kilometers from our house. When the windows rang, I could see pillars of smoke during the bombing; - I couldn't stand it. It was scary for the children, so we packed our things and went to the Cherkasy region, "-says Olena.

In Cherkassy the children are calmer. However, at home, - it was more comfortable.

There are hundreds of thousands of such families who took their children away from the explosions, from the subway, basements, and dilapidated cities. Each has its own story, full of pain and sorrow. We can support and help them. This is what the volunteers of our humanitarian center do.

Since the beginning of the war, more than 4.5 thousand Ukrainian children have received aid from us:

• food;
• baby mixes and purees;
• educational games and toys;
• beds for the little ones, playpens, strollers;
• diapers, personal hygiene products, and clothes.

Every day, we receive dozens of requests from families with children and orphans asking for help. People can come to our center for the necessary things. We also have different methods of delivery: by mail or if you live in Cherkasy - “door to door “ delivery is available.
