About Foundation

We opened the doors of our humanitarian center for the first time for Ukrainians affected by the war on the 1st of March,2022. Within a month, the volunteers went with humanitarian aid to Chernihiv, Bucha, Borodyanka ... And before that, dozens of evacuated families from Kharkiv, Mariupol and other cities were transported to a relatively safe place - Lviv. This is where the story of the Help and Hope fund began.

During the first days of the war, he went to a store with half-empty shelves and watched with sadness as people silently passed expensive imported goods.
The people lacked items to purchase. The shelves with cereals, canned food, and hygiene products were "grabbed in one second". It was my first thought that people needed support. In a few days, we organized the delivery of the first humanitarian cargo to Cherkasy. It was the beginning of work for our humanitarian center, which today supports thousands of Ukrainians”.

Olga receives about one and a half hundred calls a day from people who need help, friends, and partners. Since the beginning of the war, she has only had one day off on Easter.
When the war was beginning, the only desire was to take the children and grandchildren out to a safe place and return to work. The work that will benefit those people who are affected by the war”.

Everyone seemed to be searching for solutions to only two problems at the start of the war: how to protect family members and how can you help during this war?
I spoke to folks who still live in basements and observed how they prepared meals on fire in the yards of Bucha, Borodyanka, and other cities.” I've heard accounts of folks who were miraculously spared death. There is therefore less of a need to whine about life, and there is more to do”.

She spent the first eight days of the war in Kharkiv. The teenager fled the city under the relentless barrage of rocket fire as the windows in her dormitory were blown out.
Volunteering in the Citadel saved me. It is an interesting and necessary job where I have met many new friends. It's addictive, especially if you understand that you do the right things every day. I am happy to be here. This is my relief from bad thoughts”.

He was the first to donate to our facility. With these funds, it was possible to bring some humanitarian cargo in the beginning. Design is a Chinese man who loves Ukraine with all his heart.
Ukraine is becoming my second home. This is where my son is growing up, and this is also where my family is. I'm not going to flee either. I feel bad for the folks who lost all they valued the most because of the war. That's why I go to the territories liberated from the occupiers, and that's why I help here in the center”.

He worked as a lifeguard for eight years. After the injury, he became a truck driver. At the outbreak of the war, he assisted in providing free transportation for the refugees to Lviv. Now he is volunteering at the center.
I saw Kyiv at the beginning of the war. Then there was a desire to destroy the enemy and help Ukrainians. In the first weeks, I transported internally displaced persons to Lviv. During this period, I covered more than 20,000 kilometers. Now I transport humanitarian goods. That's how I feel useful”.

She had a successful career as an interior designer up to February 24. Afterward, she is constantly looking for opportunities to support the victims of this war. She organized the delivery of one of the first humanitarians.
We are here to do our best to help people who are having a hard time today. In order to continue, we are looking for partners. We just felt needed. Everyone is fighting on their front: the guys are there, and we are here to support them”.

He intended to work in Poland before the war. Valery arrived to work as a volunteer at the Humanitarian Center after February 24. He helps migrants here.
Due to health issues, I am unable to contribute at the front. That's why I'm here. I don't want to stay home and relax. I continue to visit the center every day because we have duty there. When you're engaged in anything, especially for the good of the people, it's easier”.

In April, Zhenya went on a humanitarian mission to Bucha and Borodyanka. After that, the girl came to our center and started helping the people.
You don't know how to react when you hear these horror stories of loss and atrocities caused and committed by russians. You can just say: "Hold on! " That's why it's important for me that, in addition to words, I can do at least something to make a person feel a little better”.

War, father’s death… Everything happened at once. I've not been at home. There is a lot of work. I, like all volunteers in the center, worked too hard. As a result, we have thousands of people who are ready to help, which is what we wanted”.
